The Shenzhen International Watercolor Exhibition in China is supported by the Chinese Government and it's goal is to encourage the use, innovation and exploration of watercolor as a medium and platform for exchange between the world and China. Around three thousand entrees by artists coming from all over the world were submitted and an expert panel jury from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and China decided on which ones would be included in the exhibit. Out of the thousands of entrees from fifty four countries, only two hundred sixty artists were chosen. Spruce head artist Katherine A. Cartwright is one of the chosen ones and her work "Fourier's Law" will be displayed from 10th of December this year up to the 10th of January 2014.
