Known by many in Shekou and considered part of Shenzhen' live music scene in his own right, Jimmy B. is not a singer by profession but he gets up on stage to sing Dock of the Bay, Bad Moon Rising and La Bamba, he literally gets people up their feet, dance and keep them yelling for more. He is truly one of the reasons why Shekou's music community is as lively as it is.

This weird looking space-ship like building on the works at Sea World, Shekou reminds one of Star Trek's USS Enterprise. A lot wonder what this structure will be for after it is done. Will it be an office, a restaurant, amusement center, movie-house, dance club or another live band music venue? For now, people in Shekou, Shenzhen just speculate. To some it's a thing of beauty while others think the design is way over the edge and does not blend well with other structures at Sea World. Whatever people think, the fact that they think about it, means only one thing... it's interesting.
